Cancellation If you made a reservation directly with Fox Rent a Car at www.foxrentacar.com or our call center, please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Fox does not charge a cancellation fee but does request such cancellation notice as soon as travel plans have changed. If you made a reservation through another provider (Expedia, Priceline etc.) please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Some providers may charge for the cancellation of a reservation if not canceled within a specific time frame. In order to alleviate such charges (cancellation fee or penalty) check with the provider and cancel the reservation directly with the provider.
CURRENCY CONVERSION
The estimated total is displayed in U.S. Dollars. The actual rate you pay will be calculated by converting the U.S. Dollar (USD) amount into the local currency using a published exchange rate established by the local rental company. When converted, the amount will best represent the original quote. However, due to currency fluctuation variances may be unavoidable. Your credit or debit card company may convert the amount back into USD at a lower rate, and may apply additional conversion fees and surcharges. Because conversion rates may differ, the final total USD charge to your credit or debit card may be higher than the USD total rate estimated on this website.
Valid Drivers License and major credit card must be presented upon arrival at the rental counter. The name on the credit card and Drivers License must match. International renters must also present a passport and a valid drivers license from their country of residence. If the license is of non-Latin alphabet an international driving license will be required.
MULTIPLE or DUPLICATE RESERVATIONS - If you require multiple vehicles for the same or overlapping time periods, please make sure to use a different name for each reservation otherwise the duplicate name reservation will automatically be canceled. FOX will not be responsible for any canceled reservations.
All cars are supplied with a full tank of fuel at time of pick-up. At the end of the rental the customer is required to return the car with a full tank of fuel, otherwise refueling charges for missing fuel will apply. If the vehicle has less than a full tank it will be noted on the contract. Refueling charge USD 15 per imperial liter will be charged if not returned with a full tank or the amount received upon rental.
Driving of rental vehicle is restricted to roadways and is prohibited on Beaches.
Reservations will be honored for a minimum of 3 hours after the confirmed pickup date and time. If the booking is paid online, the branch will wait until closing time. If the booking is to pay at pickup time the branch will wait maximum one hour (unless you call) If a flight number is provided, the branch will wait until closing time. If they close, they will give you the car next day. For pay upon arrival reservations, you must contact the location directly to inform them of the delay and prior to the scheduled arrival time for the car to be held. Fox Call Center is unable to assist in these matters. See SHUTTLE policy for a location contact number. Every effort will be made to accommodate based on fleet availability. Location will confirm at time of contact.
Third-party liability Insurance is included in the rental rates, as long as the vehicle is used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. Third Party Liability (TPL) provides coverage for third-party automobile claims for the difference between the minimum liability limits provided under the agreement or when the renters own personal policy is primary.
SLI Supplemental Liability protection extends to USD 300,000 and third-party bodily injury up to USD 5,000,000 per accident. Cost USD 15.95/per day.
LDW - Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is optional and reduces your financial liability for damage to the rental vehicle provided the vehicle is used in accordance to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. Costs vary depending on the car type rented and range from USD 14.95/per day to USD 27.95/per day with deductibles ranging from USD zero to USD 1000.
If you have purchased or are relying on a third-party collision damage waiver any damage to the vehicle will be charged to your credit card and the renter will need to seek reimbursement from the third-party policy.
The presentation of a credit card or personal auto insurance is not proof of Cayman coverage. We strongly recommend the optional LDW to reduce the responsibility in case of damage or theft to the vehicle.
NOTE: If either SLI or LDW is declined a Minimum of 1500 USD will be held as a deposit above the rental cost.

When accepting LDW/SLI a charge equal to the estimated amount of the rental plus an additional authorization of USD 1000 is required at time of rental. When declining LDW/SLI a charge equal to the estimated amount of the rental plus an additional authorization of USD 1500 is required at time of rental.

Rates that are impacted by a website technical issue, database issue or other means will not be honored by the location if the rate display was inaccurate due to a technical issue or tampering issue to change the rate display.

The reservation service provider for Fox is Europcar. Upon arrival and after collecting luggage, exit the airport terminal and cross the street to the car rental plaza.
