If you made a reservation directly with Fox Rent a Car at www.foxrentacar.com or our call center, please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Fox does not charge a cancellation fee but does request such cancellation notice as soon as travel plans have changed.

Some providers may charge for the cancellation of a reservation if not canceled within a specific time frame. In order to alleviate such charges (cancellation fee or penalty) check with the provider and cancel the reservation directly with the provider.

CURRENCY CONVERSION - The estimated total is displayed in U.S. Dollars. The actual rate you pay will be calculated by converting the U.S. Dollar (USD) amount into the local currency using a published exchange rate established by the local rental company. When converted, the amount will best represent the original quote. However, due to currency fluctuation variances may be unavoidable. Your credit or debit card company may convert the amount back into USD at a lower rate, and may apply additional conversion fees and surcharges. Because conversion rates may differ, the final total USD charge to your credit or debit card may be higher than the USD total rate estimated on this website.
Valid Drivers License and major credit card must be presented upon arrival at the rental counter. The name on the credit card and Drivers License must match. International renters must also present a passport and a valid Drivers License from their country of residence. If the license is of non-Latin alphabet an international driving license will be required. A local Drivers Permit is required at a Fee of USD/5.00 one-time
MULTIPLE or DUPLICATE RESERVATIONS - If you require multiple vehicles for the same or overlapping time periods please make sure to use a different name for each reservation otherwise the duplicate name reservation will automatically be canceled. FOX will not be responsible for any canceled reservations.

Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as at the start of rental to avoid refueling charges.
Driving restrictions - driving of the rental vehicle is restricted major and minor paved roads. A USD 375 penalty fee applies for violations of this restriction. In addition, all insurance protection coverage is null and void.
Reservations will be honored for a period of 2 hours after the confirmed pick up date and time.

Loss Damage Waiver - IS OPTIONAL PROVIDING THE FOLLOWING CONDITION IS MET. Written proof of coverage for Barbados from a third-party is presented at time of rental. If you have purchased or are relying on third-party collision damage waiver any damage to the vehicle will be charged to your credit card and the renter will need to seek reimbursement from the third-party policy. The presentation of a credit card or personal auto insurance is not proof of coverage. WITHOUT WRITTEN PROOF THE RENTER WILL BE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE LOSS DAMAGE WAIVER. A damage report must be completed by the driver for any damage to the vehicle. If a collision occurs, a Police report must also be supplied when returning the vehicle. We strongly advise clients to contact us immediately in the event of any damage. If this procedure is not followed, the insurance coverage could become invalid, and the client could be liable for all damages
LDW - Loss Damage Waiver protection product limits your financial exposure for damage caused to the Vehicle whilst it is in your care. If you purchase our standard collision damage protection product and comply with the applicable road traffic laws and rental terms and conditions, then we will pay for the cost of damage to the Vehicle that exceeds the Excess amount of USD 1000.00. You can reduce the Excess amount by purchasing our premium collision damage protection product (SLDW) instead of the standard collision damage protection offering. This protection does not cover the loss or theft of or damage to objects or property, (including luggage or goods) that are deposited or kept or transported in or on the Vehicle by you or by any Passenger. Cost USD/10.00 per day
SLDW - Super Loss Damage Waiver protection offers the same coverage as the LDW terms in the Basic Package, but with REDUCED excess of USD 500.00. Exclusions apply. Cost USD/15.00 per day
WTP - Windscreen and Tire Protection product will apply to any damage that occurs to glass, lights or tires in circumstances of normal use of the Vehicle during your rental. If, and only if, such damage occurs as a result of a collision then the cost to repair or replace glass (including sunroofs or panoramic roofs), lights or tires will be covered by the collision damage protection. Excess USD/0. Cost USD/5.00 per day

DEPOSITS - With all rental agreements, a credit card CHARGE equal to the estimated amount of the rental and an AUTHORIZATION OF USD/375 is required at time of rental. If you have purchased or are relying on a third-party collision damage waiver any damage to the vehicle will be charged to your credit card and the renter will need to seek reimbursement from the third-party policy. This authorization amount may be used toward damages of the vehicle or late charges. Unused funds will be returned through the credit card processor after vehicle return. NO REFUNDS ARE MADE FOR EARLY VEHICLE RETURNS OR CONTRACT CANCELLATIONS
