The location I am due to return my vehicle is closed. Can I return my rental to another location?
Customers who were originally scheduled to return their rental to a storm-affected city may return it to another Fox Rent a Car location within the state of Florida at no extra charge. Customers will be responsible for fees associated with recovery of any vehicle not returned to a Fox location.
Can I return my car early or keep it longer than originally planned?
Customers that need to return early or keep the car longer may do so. Fox Rent A Car will waive all early and return fees during the time of the storm. You will still be responsible for all daily fees associated with the rental for the days you used the car.
I prepaid for my rental, and my flight has now been canceled due to the weather. Can I get a refund?
Contact our Customer Care team at (323) 593-7489 to cancel your reservation and begin the refund process. Please note the refund will take up to 10 business days to process.

Leaving the state
Customers with new reservations post-storm are restricted to keeping vehicles inside the state, our usual policy. Customers who decided to leave Florida for safety’s sake during the storm must still return the vehicle to a Fox location in Florida to complete their contract. Customers who were originally scheduled to return their rental to a storm-affected city may return it to another Fox Rent a Car location within 500 miles/800 kilometers at no extra charge. Customers will be responsible for fees associated with recovery of any vehicle not returned to a Fox location.
