Additional drivers must meet all qualifications as the primary driver in regard to age, passport, and license requirements. Cost: CHF 14/per day with a maximum of CHF 140 /per rental per add. driver.

Minimum age 19.
Vehicle restrictions apply for age 19-20. Rentals are limited to economy, compact, intermediate, standard and fullsize sedans.
For age 19 to 24 a surcharge applies. Cost CHF 19.90/per day maximum CHF 199/per rental.

Cancellation
If you made a reservation directly with Fox Rent a Car at www.foxrentacar.com or our call center, please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Fox does not charge a cancellation fee but does request such cancellation notice as soon as travel plans have changed. If you made a reservation through another provider (Expedia, Priceline etc.) please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Some providers may charge for the cancellation of a reservation if not canceled within a specific time frame. In order to alleviate such charges (cancellation fee or penalty) check with the provider and cancel the reservation directly with the provider.

CURRENCY CONVERSION

The estimated total is displayed in U.S. Dollars. The actual rate you pay will be calculated by converting the U.S. Dollar (USD) amount into the local currency using a published exchange rate established by the local rental company. When converted, the amount will best represent the original quote. However, due to currency fluctuation variances may be unavoidable. Your credit or debit card company may convert the amount back into USD at a lower rate, and may apply additional conversion fees and surcharges. Because conversion rates may differ, the final total USD charge to your credit or debit card may be higher than the USD total rate estimated on this website.

A valid Drivers License issued at least 1 year prior to the pickup date and a major credit card must be presented upon arrival at the rental counter. The name on the credit card and Drivers License must match. Two major credit cards matching the name of the Drivers License must be presented for specialty and luxury vehicles. International renters must also present a passport and a valid drivers license from their country of residence. If the license is of non-Latin alphabet an international driving license will be required. The international driving license is only valid if shown together with the license of their country of residence.

MULTIPLE or DUPLICATE RESERVATIONS - If you require multiple vehicles for the same or overlapping time periods, please make sure to use a different name for each reservation otherwise the duplicate name reservation will automatically be canceled. FOX will not be responsible for any canceled reservations.

IN CASE OF EMERGENCY CALL the Emergency breakdown number as shown on the Windshield or on the car keys. The Roadside Assistance will try to repair the vehicle, if not possible and the vehicle must be towed, please also contact the rental station (phone number is indicated on your rental agreement) in order to arrange a replacement vehicle.

Child Safety Seat Infant (9-18kg/20-40lbs). Cost CHF 69.50/per rental.
Child Safety Seat Toddler (15-30kg/33-66lbs). Cost CHF 66.00 per/rental.
Child Booster Seat. Cost CHF 40.00/per rental.

NOTE: Child seat for Infants below 9kg/20lbs not available.

Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as at the start of the rental to avoid refueling charges. You may have the option to buy a tank at pick up, for detailed information ask our counter staff.

Cross border is restricted to: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Spain (Mainland only), Finland, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy (incl. Islands), Luxemburg, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland. If you intend to enter Czech Rep., Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary or Croatia a cross border fee must be purchased in order to benefit from Excess & Roadside Assistance coverage.

Cost of Cross border Fee into these countries CHF 75.00.

Honoring Reservations
Reservations will be honored for a maximum of one hour after the confirmed pickup date and time. (Unless you call prior to scheduled arrival time.)
If the booking is paid online, the branch will wait until closing time.
If the booking is to pay at pickup time the branch will wait maximum one hour (unless you call)
If a flight number is provided, the branch will wait until closing time. If they close, they will give you the car next day.
For pay upon arrival reservations, you must contact the location directly to inform them of the delay and prior to the scheduled arrival time for the car to be held.
Fox Call Center is unable to assist in these matters. See SHUTTLE policy for a location contact number. Every effort will be made to accommodate based on fleet availability. Location will confirm at time of contact.

Third party liability insurance is included in the rental. The third party liability insurance covers bodily injuries and damages to third parties. It does not cover damages and bodily injuries of the passengers of the car rental. Optional Passenger Accident Insurance and Damage and Theft waivers can be purchased at the counter. Price range of Passenger Accident Insurance (from CHF 8 per day), Damage & Theft Coverage price range vary by vehicle class and duration. More information is available at time of rental.

Unlimited for rental duration 1-28 days / limited from 29+ days. Limited mileage for 29+ days will be returned in the rate.

One-way rentals are offered. When available, the one-way fee will be reflected in the total price.

One Way rentals into the following countries are not allowed: Czech Rep., Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia and Great Britain.

Vehicles registered with Swiss license plates are equipped with Winter Tyres starting 15th November until 30th April. The Winter Tyre fee is reflected in the rates.

Vehicles registered with Swiss license plates are equipped with a toll fee Motorway sticker (Vignette) valid for Switzerland. If you drive abroad you have to pay the toll fees or purchase any toll fee stickers before entering the country.

PAYMENTDEPOSITS - A deposit amount equal to the estimated amount of the rental plus an additional charge of CHF 350 for all vehicle classes except for specialty and premium/luxury classes.

A deposit amount equal to the estimated amount of the rental plus an additional charge of CHF 3000.00 applies per credit card for specialty and premium/luxury classes.

ACCEPTED CREDIT CARDS AT TIME OF RENTAL VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DINERS CLUB.

Note: CASH DEPOSITS AND DEBIT CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

Any changes to the reservation or rental may result in a change of rate or additional fees.

Seat belts and child seats are mandatory by law.

Rates that are impacted by a website technical issue, database issue or other means will not be honored by the location if the rate display was inaccurate due to a technical issue or tampering issue to change the rate display.

After collecting your luggage, proceed to the rental desk following Car Rental signs, the car rental terminal is located on the ground floor, where you will find the Europcar booth. Note: Please take the Exit Switzerland when you queue for customs at Geneva Airport.

Vehicles with Swiss license plates include the Swiss Highway sticker. Toll road stickers and fees for or in other countries are not included and must be purchased or paid by the driver in the respective country.
