Cancellation
If you made a reservation directly with Fox Rent a Car at www.foxrentacar.com or our call center, please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Fox does not charge a cancellation fee but does request such cancellation notice as soon as travel plans have changed. If you made a reservation through another provider (Expedia, Priceline etc.) please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Some providers may charge for the cancellation of a reservation if not canceled within a specific time frame. In order to alleviate such charges (cancellation fee or penalty) check with the provider and cancel the reservation directly with the provider.

CURRENCY CONVERSION

The estimated total is displayed in U.S. Dollars. The actual rate you pay will be calculated by converting the U.S. Dollar (USD) amount into the local currency using a published exchange rate established by the local rental company. When converted, the amount will best represent the original quote. However, due to currency fluctuation variances may be unavoidable. Your credit or debit card company may convert the amount back into USD at a lower rate, and may apply additional conversion fees and surcharges. Because conversion rates may differ, the final total USD charge to your credit or debit card may be higher than the USD total rate estimated on this website.

A valid drivers license with a minimum validity of 1 year and a major credit card must be presented upon arrival at the rental counter.
The name on the credit card and the drivers license must match.

International renters must also present a valid passport and drivers license from their country of residence. If the license is non-Latin alphabetized, an international driver's license will be required.

MULTIPLE or DUPLICATE RESERVATIONS - If you require multiple vehicles for the same or overlapping time periods, please make sure to use a different name for each reservation otherwise the duplicate name reservation will automatically be canceled. FOX will not be responsible for any canceled reservations.

Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as at the start of rental to avoid refueling charges.

The use of vehicle is restricted to Paraguay, within 200 km of the border and where prohibited by law. Driving on cobbled and dirt roads is strictly prohibited.

Reservations will be honored for a minimum of 1 hour after the confirmed pickup date and time.

If the booking is paid online, the branch will wait until closing time.
If the booking is to pay at pickup time the branch will wait maximum one hour (unless you call)
If a flight number is provided, the branch will wait until closing time. If they close, they will give you the car next day.
For pay upon arrival reservations, you must contact the location directly to inform them of the delay and prior to the scheduled arrival time for the car to be held.

SLI. Complementary Civil Liability Insurance limits the client's liability for damages that may be caused to third parties or property. It does not cover injuries to you, passengers or damage to the rented vehicle.

Basic Collision Damage Waiver coverage (CDW) is required for all rentals unless the customer can demonstrate that they have an alternative form of international coverage. If alternative coverage is presented, the customer is responsible for payment of all damages to Europcar Paraguay, and documents will be provided for the customer to make a claim from their alternative insurer.

CDW. Collision Damage Waiver reduces your financial responsibility for damage to the vehicle, its parts and accessories, except for damage to tires, windshield, interior damage, theft, attempted theft, or vandalism, as long as the vehicle is used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. Exclusions apply.

Cost USD 6/per day. The deductible varies according to the vehicle category. Deductible USD 1,500 to 2,000.

THW Theft Waiver releases the customer from responsibility for payment of charges resulting from the theft or attempted theft of the vehicle or its accessories. Exclusions apply. Cost USD 6/per day. The deductible varies according to the vehicle category. Deductible USD 1,500 USD to 2,500.

Rate includes 100 free km per day.

One-way rentals are not offered.

PAYMENT & DEPOSITS

A CHARGE equal to the estimated rental amount plus an additional DEPOSIT USD 1,500 and 1,800 (amount depends on car class rented) is required at time of rental.
