Cancellation
If you made a reservation directly with Fox Rent a Car at www.foxrentacar.com or our call center, please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Fox does not charge a cancellation fee but does request such cancellation notice as soon as travel plans have changed. If you made a reservation through another provider (Expedia, Priceline etc.) please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Some providers may charge for the cancellation of a reservation if not canceled within a specific time frame. In order to alleviate such charges (cancellation fee or penalty) check with the provider and cancel the reservation directly with the provider.

The actual rate you pay will be calculated by converting the U.S. Dollar (USD) amount into the local currency using a published exchange rate established by the local rental company. When converted, the amount will best represent the original quote. However, due to currency fluctuation variances may be unavoidable. Your credit or debit card company may convert the amount back into USD at a lower rate, and may apply additional conversion fees and surcharges. Valid Drivers License for minimum one year and major credit card must be presented upon arrival at the rental counter. The name on the credit card and Drivers License must match. International renters must also present a passport and a valid drivers license from their country of residence. If the license is of non-Latin alphabet an international driving license will be required.
MULTIPLE or DUPLICATE RESERVATIONS - If you require multiple vehicles for the same or overlapping time periods, please make sure to use a different name for each reservation otherwise the duplicate name reservation will automatically be canceled. FOX will not be responsible for any canceled reservations.

Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as at the start of the rental to avoid refueling charges of NOK 300 plus cost of missing fuel.

Reservations will be honored for a minimum of 1 hour after the confirmed pickup date and time.
If the booking is paid online the reservation will be honored for a minimum of 4 hours, or until closing time.
If the booking is to pay at pickup time the branch will wait maximum one hour (unless you call)
If a flight number is provided, the branch will wait until closing time. If they close, they will give you the car next day.
For pay upon arrival reservations, you must contact the location directly to inform them of the delay and prior to the scheduled arrival time for the car to be held.
Fox Call Center is unable to assist in these matters. Every effort will be made to accommodate based on fleet availability. Location will confirm at time of contact.

Free kilometers allowance will be returned in the rate quote.
One-way rentals are available between Europcar locations in Europe. When available, the one-way fee will be reflected in the total price.
A charge equal to the estimated amount of the rental plus an additional charge of NOK 3000 is required at time of rental.
