Cancellation If you made a reservation directly with Fox Rent a Car at www.foxrentacar.com or our call center, please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Fox does not charge a cancellation fee but does request such cancellation notice as soon as travel plans have changed. If you made a reservation through another provider (Expedia, Priceline etc.) please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Some providers may charge for the cancellation of a reservation if not canceled within a specific time frame. In order to alleviate such charges (cancellation fee or penalty) check with the provider and cancel the reservation directly with the provider.
CURRENCY CONVERSION
The estimated total is displayed in U.S. Dollars. The actual rate you pay will be calculated by converting the U.S. Dollar (USD) amount into the local currency using a published exchange rate established by the local rental company. When converted, the amount will best represent the original quote. However, due to currency fluctuation variances may be unavoidable. Your credit or debit card company may convert the amount back into USD at a lower rate, and may apply additional conversion fees and surcharges. Because conversion rates may differ, the final total USD charge to your credit or debit card may be higher than the USD total rate estimated on this website.
A driving license valid in Germany. Photocopies or digital documents are not accepted. Driving licenses from non-EU/EEA countries are only accepted on presentation of a translation or an international driving license. This does not apply if the driving license complies with the Convention on Road Traffic of November 8, 1968 (Annex 6). Driving licenses from Andorra, Hong Kong, Monaco, New Zealand, San Marino, Switzerland, and Senegal are also accepted without a translation. The translation must be provided by a recognized automobile club or a body designated by the Federal Ministry of Transport.
NOTE: Minimum drivers license period is 1 day to 3 years. 1 day Economy sedan to compact elite. 1 year Intermediate to full-size sedans. 3 Years Premium sedans and higher.
MULTIPLE or DUPLICATE RESERVATIONS - If you require multiple vehicles for the same or overlapping time periods, please make sure to use a different name for each reservation otherwise the duplicate name reservation will automatically be canceled. FOX will not be responsible for any canceled reservations.

All cars are supplied with a full tank of fuel at time of pick-up. At the end of the rental the customer is required to return the car with a full tank of fuel, otherwise refueling charges for missing fuel will apply. Refueling charge varies by the gasoline prices. Electric cars must be returned with min 80% battery charge. In case the loading service by Europcar is requested, a full battery charge (FBO) must be purchased. Re-loading charge applies per kwH.

Reservations will be honored for 59 minutes after the confirmed pickup date and time.
If the booking is paid online, the branch will wait until closing time. If the booking is to pay at pickup time the branch will wait maximum one hour (unless you call) If a flight number is provided, the branch will wait until closing time. If they close, they will give you the car next day. For pay upon arrival reservations, you must contact the location directly to inform them of the delay and prior to the scheduled arrival time for the car to be held.

Deductible for collision damage / fully comprehensive insurance (CDW) / theft protection (THW) / personal occupant protection (PAI) - fees vary depending on the type of car and the station. Further information is available from your Europcar rental office.

One-way rentals are available between participating Europcar locations. When offered the one-way fee will be reflected in the total price.
CHARGING TRAILER: EMobG will provide a charging pendant or a charging card from EMobG's partner Shell Recharge (hereinafter referred to as "charging fob"). In the event of loss an amount of EUR 50.00 applies upon return of the vehicle.
ACCEPTED PAYMENT FOR DEPOSIT VISA, MASTERCARD, DINERS CLUB, AMERICAN EXPRESS. Minimum deposit EURO 300 For Luxury and specialty vehicles Deposit EUR 2500. A separate deposit of EUR 100.00 is payable for the use of the charging trailer, which is handed over when you hire an electric vehicle.
