With the consent of the renter, the vehicle may be driven by other persons. Additional drivers must meet all qualifications as the primary driver in regard to age, passport, and license requirements. Cost EUR 9/per day

Cancellation
If you made a reservation directly with Fox Rent a Car at www.foxrentacar.com or our call center, please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Fox does not charge a cancellation fee but does request such cancellation notice as soon as travel plans have changed. If you made a reservation through another provider (Expedia, Priceline etc.) please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Some providers may charge for the cancellation of a reservation if not canceled within a specific time frame. In order to alleviate such charges (cancellation fee or penalty) check with the provider and cancel the reservation directly with the provider.

CURRENCY CONVERSION
The estimated total is displayed in U.S. Dollars. The actual rate you pay will be calculated by converting the U.S. Dollar (USD) amount into the local currency using a published exchange rate established by the local rental company. When converted, the amount will best represent the original quote. However, due to currency fluctuation variances may be unavoidable. Your credit or debit card company may convert the amount back into USD, and may apply additional conversion fees and surcharges. Because conversion rates may differ, the final total USD charge to your credit card may be higher than the USD total rate estimated on this website.

Valid Drivers License with a minimum 12 months driving experience and major credit card must be presented upon arrival at the rental counter. The name on the credit card and Drivers License must match. International renters must also present a passport and a valid drivers license from their country of residence. If the license is of non-Latin alphabet an international driving license will be required.

MULTIPLE or DUPLICATE RESERVATIONS - If you require multiple vehicles for the same or overlapping time periods, please make sure to use a different name for each reservation otherwise the duplicate name reservation will automatically be canceled. FOX will not be responsible for any canceled reservations.

Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as at the start of the rental to avoid refueling charges. Missing fuel is charged according to Europcar Finlands fuel prices per litre.

It is prohibited to drive the cars outside Finland without prior agreement, except to Norway and Sweden. A cross-border fee of EUR 62.00/ per rental will apply.

Reservations will be honored for a minimum of 2 hours after the confirmed pickup date and time.
If the booking is paid online the reservation will be honored for a minimum of 4 hours, or until closing time.
If the booking is to pay at pickup time the branch will wait maximum one hour (unless you call)
If a flight number is provided, the branch will wait until closing time. If they close, they will give you the car next day.
For pay upon arrival reservations, you must contact the location directly to inform them of the delay and prior to the scheduled arrival time for the car to be held.
Fox Call Center is unable to assist in these matters. Every effort will be made to accommodate based on fleet availability. Location will confirm at time of contact.

TPL

Third Party Liability coverage is included in the rates. The liability cover provides coverage to all occupants of the rental vehicle, as well as third parties. Excludes any coverage for the rental vehicle. Maximum coverage for property damages EUR 5 000 000, unlimited for bodily injuries. Exclusions Apply.

LDW Loss Damage Waiver

When accepted reduces renters liability in the event of theft, attempted theft, collision or damage to the rental vehicle. Exclusions Apply. Reduces excess to EUR 950 or 1250 depending on category.

Cost EUR 30-45/per day, depending on category.

WWI Windscreen, Glass, Lights & Tires

When accepted reduces your financial liability to zero for damage to windscreen, glass, lights and tires.

Cost EUR 9 /per day.

Medium Protection Package

When accepted reduces your liability in the event of theft, attempted theft, collision or damage to the vehicle. Exclusions Apply. Reduces excess to EUR 490. Windscreen, Glass, Lights & Tires protection is also included and reduces your financial liability to zero for damage to windscreen, glass, lights and tires.

Cost EUR 13-22/per day, depending on category and length of rental

Premium Protection Package

When accepted reduces your liability in the event of theft, attempted theft, collision or damage to the vehicle. Exclusions Apply. Reduces excess to zero. Windscreen, Glass, Lights & Tires protection is included and reduces your financial liability to zero for damage to windscreen, glass, lights and tires.

Cost EUR 20-34/per day, depending on category and length of rental

Unlimited kilometers

Domestic one-way rentals are available between Fox-Europcar locations in Finland. When available, the one-way fee will be reflected in the total price.

NOTE: Oneway-rentals to/from Aland Islands are not allowed.

Use of Winter Tires
All cars are equipped with studded tires from Nov 1 until March 31 each year. Winter cover including studded tires is charged during this time.
Cost EUR 6.20/per day.

PAYMENT AND DEPOSITS - A charge equal to the estimated amount of the rental plus an additional charge of EUR 300 to 3000 (amount depends on class rented and coverage accepted) is required at time of rental.

ACCEPTED CREDIT CARDS AT TIME OF RENTAL AND RETURN American Express, Euro Card, Master Card and Visa.

NOTE: CASH DEPOSITS AND DEBIT CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

Any changes to the reservation or rental may result in a change of rate or additional fees.

Seat belts and child seats are mandatory by law.
Rates that are impacted by a website technical issue, database issue or other means will not be honored by the location if the rate display was inaccurate due to a technical issue or tampering issue to change the rate display.
All cars are non-smoking cars. A cleaning cost of EUR 200 is collected from the renter for violation of this policy.
