With the consent of the renter, additional drivers are permitted. The additional driver must meet all qualifications as the primary driver in regards to age, passport, and license requirements. Cost USD 6/per day.

Cancellation If you made a reservation directly with Fox Rent a Car at www.foxrentacar.com or our call center, please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Fox does not charge a cancellation fee but does request such cancellation notice as soon as travel plans have changed. If you made a reservation through another provider (Expedia, Priceline etc.) please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Some providers may charge for the cancellation of a reservation if not canceled within a specific time frame. In order to alleviate such charges (cancellation fee or penalty) check with the provider and cancel the reservation directly with the provider.
CURRENCY CONVERSION The estimated total is displayed in U.S. Dollars. The actual rate you pay will be calculated by converting the U.S. Dollar (USD) amount into the local currency using a published exchange rate established by the local rental company. When converted, the amount will best represent the original quote. However, due to currency fluctuation variances may be unavoidable. Your credit or debit card company may convert the amount back into USD, and may apply additional conversion fees and surcharges. Because conversion rates may differ, the final total USD charge to your credit card may be higher than the USD total rate estimated on this website.
Valid Drivers License is required at time of rental. The drivers license issuance most be the same country as the passport. Minimum licesnse 2 year.

All cars are supplied with a full tank of fuel at time of pick-up. At the end of the rental the customer is required to return the car with a full tank of fuel, otherwise refueling charges for missing fuel will apply.
The use of rental vehicle is restricted to Chile. Border crossing is only allowed to Argentina and only for Economics, Compacts, SUVs, Pickups Trucks and Minivans. The Border crossing permit must be requested by email within, at least, seven working days in advance to permisointernacional@econorent.cl. Information needed to process the permit is: Clear images of the valid passport, valid drivers license Permit will be ready upon the customers arrival. Please include complete confirmation details.
Reservations will be honored for a minimum of 1 hour after the confirmed pickup date and time. IN CASE OF DELAYED ARRIVALS you must contact the location directly to inform of the delay and prior to the scheduled arrival time in order for the car to be held. Please refer to keyword SHUTTLE for contact information.
Basic Liability is included. Collision Damage Waiver, Personal Accident Insurance and Glass and Tire protection are available at time of rental for an additional daily charge.
One-way rentals are permitted between branches in Chile. When available, the one-way fee will be reflected in the total price.
A charge equal to the estimated amount of the rental plus an additional deposit of USD 750-1500 depending on vehicle coverage is required at time of rental.
ACCEPTED CREDIT CARDS AT TIME OF RENTAL American Express, Diners Club, Visa, and Mastercard. Note: CASH DEPOSITS AND DEBIT CARDS OR ELECTRONIC CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
Credit cards that have both credit/debit on the face of the card could be rejected. The name on credit card must be the same as the reservation and renting driver.
Any changes to the reservation or rental may result in a change of rate or additional fees.

Rates that are impacted by a website technical issue, database issue or other means will not be honored by the location if the rate display was inaccurate due to a technical issue or tampering issue to change the rate display.
Grace period 59 minutes. Hourly rate applies or full day after four hours. Fox Call Center is unable to assist in these matters.

Applies to all stations according to consumption. Customer must pay when the car returns.
This charge will apply for all rentals where the electronic tolls were used, amount will be calculated depending utilization and charged at the end of rental directly to the customer. Manual tolls should be paid directly by the customers at the toll gate. Net rates does not include this charge.
