If you made a reservation directly with Fox Rent a Car at www.foxrentacar.com or our call center, please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Fox does not charge a cancellation fee but does request such cancellation notice as soon as travel plans have changed.

If you made a reservation through another provider (Expedia, Priceline etc.) please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Some providers may charge for the cancellation of a reservation if not canceled within a specific time frame. In order to alleviate such charges (cancellation fee or penalty) check with the provider and cancel the reservation directly with the provider.

CURRENCY CONVERSION - The estimated total is displayed in U.S. Dollars. The actual rate you pay will be calculated by converting the U.S. Dollar (USD) amount into the local currency using a published exchange rate established by the local rental company. When converted, the amount will best represent the original quote.  However, due to currency fluctuation variances may be unavoidable. Your credit or debit card company may convert the amount back into USD at a lower rate, and may apply additional conversion fees and surcharges. Because conversion rates may differ, the final total USD charge to your credit or debit card may be higher than the USD total rate estimated on this website.

MULTIPLE or DUPLICATE RESERVATIONS - If you require multiple vehicles for the same or overlapping time periods please make sure to use a different name for each reservation otherwise the duplicate name reservation will automatically be cancelled. FOX will not be responsible for any cancelled reservations.

Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as at the start of rental to avoid refueling charges.

Driving restrictions - driving of rental vehicle is prohibited on Beaches, Sand Dunes, Arikok National Park and where prohibited by Local Law and on private property (for Arikok National Park, Off-Road Vehicles are excluded). On Private Property, follow per Owners instructions.

Fines/Penalties given by the Local Authorities and/or Private Entities for the abovementioned infractions and any other violations involving the rental vehicle, are not covered by CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), FDW (Full Damage Waiver), or any Insurance. These are between the Renter and the Local Authorities and/or Private Entities and are to be paid in full directly by the Renter to the Local Authorities and/or Private Entities before leaving the Island.

Reservations will be honored for a period of 3 hours after the confirmed pick up date and time.

IN CASE OF DELAYED ARRIVALS
You must contact the location directly to inform of the delay and prior to the scheduled arrival time in order for the car to be held. Fox Call Center is unable to assist in these matters. Please see SHUTTLE policy for location phone number. Every effort will be made to accommodate based on fleet availability.  Location will confirm at time of contact.

Third party liability Insurance is included in the rental rates, as long as the vehicle is used in accordance with the Local Law and the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.
If renter has purchased or are relying on third party collision coverage, any damage to the vehicle will be charged to renters` credit card and the renter will need to seek reimbursement from the third party policy.
A damage report must be completed by the driver for any damage to the vehicle. If a collision occurs, a Police report must also be supplied when returning the vehicle. We strongly advise clients to contact us immediately in the event of any damage. If this procedure is not followed, the insurance coverage could become invalid and the client could be liable for all damages.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) reduces your financial liability for damage to the vehicle its parts (except tire damage) and accessories except for theft, attempted theft, vandalism or gross negligence provided the vehicle is used in accordance with the Local Law and the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. CDW deductible is USD 500.00 for economy to full-size sedans and USD 1,000 for premium sedan, SUVs, Vans and all terrain vehicles. Deductible is per Incident. Cost USD/ 10.00 per day (excluding taxes).
Full Damage Waiver (FDW) reduces your financial liability for damage to the vehicle its parts and accessories except for theft, attempted theft, vandalism or gross negligence provided the vehicle is used in accordance with the local law and terms and conditions of the rental agreement. FDW deductible is zero.
Note: Full Damage Waiver is only offered on rentals of 4 days or more and is NOT offered for premium sedans, SUVs, Vans and all terrain vehicles. Cost USD 24.00/per day (excluding taxes).

Unlimited Mileage

One-way rentals are not offered.

Valid Drivers License and major credit card must be presented upon arrival at rental counter. No cash accepted. Name on credit card and Drivers License must match. International renters must also present a passport and a valid drivers license from their country of residence. If the license is of non- Latin alphabet an international driving license will be required.
DEPOSITS - A credit card CHARGE equal to the estimated amount of the Rental plus an additional AUTHORIZATION on a credit card of USD 500.00 for economy - full-size sedans and USD 1,000 for premium sedan, SUVs, Vans and all-terrain vehicles is required at time of rental. This additional Authorization amount may be used toward damages of vehicle or late charges. Debit cards are not accepted for the Authorization. Unused Authorization will be returned through the credit card processor after vehicle return, and may take up to 28 days to be available depending on your bank and their policies.
NO REFUNDS ARE MADE FOR EARLY VEHICLE RETURNS OR CONTRACT CANCELLATIONS.

Any changes to the reservation or rental may result in a change of rate or additional fees.
Makes/models are examples only and are not guaranteed.
Seat belts and child seats are mandatory by law.
Vehicles are driven on the RIGHT side of the road.
Animals/Pets are not allowed in vehicles.
Rates that are impacted by a website technical issue, database issue or other means will not be honored by the location if the rate display was inaccurate due to a technical issue or tampering issue to change the rate display.

The Fox vehicle provider for this location is Sunset Car Rental. Upon arrival and after collecting your luggage please exit the terminal and cross the road to the car rental shuttle pick up area marked with a yellow sign. There a uniformed Fox/Sunset Representative will be waiting for you with a hand-held sign. There are no Toll Roads in Aruba.
