WHAT IS THERE TO DO IN KRAKOW, POLAND?

Krakow is a city in the southern region of Poland, near the border of the Czech Republic. As the country’s second-largest city, it makes a wonderful destination full of rich history and activities to keep you busy during your visit.

One great place to start your visit is Krakow’s Main Square. It’s 10 acres large, making it Europe’s biggest market square. If walking isn’t your thing, you can even take a horse drawn carriage ride through the old buildings to take in all the architectural sights, which include a stone fortress built in 1498 or St. Florian’s Gate, an observation tower from 1307.

Krakow used to be the royal capital of Poland, so you’ll still be able to find, and tour, the old buildings atop Wawel Hill, including a castle and cathedral. Shop, eat, walk through the churches and cathedrals, but don’t miss Krakus Mound, which offers a 360-degree view of Krakow.

However long your visit to Krakow, you’ll find you can fill it with memories to last a lifetime.
