WHAT IS THERE TO DO IN DARWIN, AUSTRALIA?

If you’re lucky enough to visit the beautiful country of Australia, you’ll want to make sure to squeeze in as much site seeing as you can. Darwin is an area of Australia still focused on outdoor activities, offering things a bit different from other areas you may visit down under. One great place to start is the Territory Wildlife Park in Berry Springs. About 45 minutes outside of Darwin, you’ll see indigenous wildlife via train, be able to walk through a forest or view other animal shows. You can get out on the water in Darwin Harbor, or take one of many tours available on either a boat or dry land.

If you’re really adventurous consider the Cage of Death at Crocosaurus Cove, an experience like no other that allows you to get up close to a crocodile but stay entirely safe. Visit the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens, walk through one of the several air-conditioned museums, take a crocodile cruise, or head to the Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve, one of the few wetlands that visitors can see year-round. Litchfield National Park has waterfalls and many other natural photo opps. No matter where you go, you’ll find good places to eat. Memories of your amazing Darwin trip will last forever!
