Required deposits
Approval of deposit as a Credit Card Authorization is equal to the rental total plus the insurance accepted. All options are listed below.

RLP: An additional credit card approval of USD/20,000.00 for mini cars to full size cars and USD/40,000.00 for SUVs and Vans will be required in addition to the estimated total for the rental.
NOTE - Cancun (CUN) Quintana Roo State Law requires an authorization of USD/100,000.00 in addition to the estimated total for the rental.

SLI: An additional credit card approval of USD/600.00 for mini cars to full size cars and USD/1,000.00 for SUVs and Vans will be required in addition to the estimated total for the rental.

SLI2: An additional credit card approval of USD/600.00 for mini cars to full size cars andUSD/1,000.00 for SUVs and Vans will be required in addition to the estimated total forthe rental.

CDW: An additional credit card approval of USD/300.00 for mini cars to full size cars and USD/500.00 for SUVs and Vans will be required in addition to the estimated total for the rental.

FDW: An additional credit card approval of USD/100.00 for mini cars to full size cars and USD/200.00 for SUVs and Vans will be required in addition to the estimated total for the rental.

Accepted methods of payment for Deposits - Visa, Master Card, Amex and JCB.
No Cash deposits accepted.

Terminal 1
International
After collecting your luggage, proceed to the Car Rental Area (outside baggage claim) where you will find the FOX booth between gate 7 and 8. There, a uniformed FOX agent will arrange for the shuttle to pick you up. Our FOX shuttle is bright yellow with the FOX logo. Domestic

Terminal 2 International and Domestic
After collecting your luggage, proceed to the second floor where you take the aerotren a free transportation to Terminal 1 (Please have your boarding pass available to confirm the free transportation). From Terminal 1, proceed to the parking lot from the domestic terminal across the bridge, take the elevator to level 0 and you will find our facility with bright FOX logos. Mexico Law requires all car rental contracts to include supplemental coverage. You will be required to select from the following at time of rental.

RLP-Rental liability protection- Protects you against claims for injury/damage you cause to third persons/their property. Property damage/public liability is included in accordance with law and covers up to MXN/25,000.00 in third party liability protection. See DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS below under PAYMENT policy. RLP is USD/0.00 per day.

SLI-Supplemental liability insurance- Optional supplemental liability insurance is available to extend the coverage of legal liability up to a maximum of MXN/300,000.00. The liability insurance limits the responsibility of the customer over damages it may cause to third parties or properties. See DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS below under PAYMENT policy. SLI is USD/14.99 per day.

SLI2-Supplemental liability insurance Plus- Optional supplemental liability insurance is available to extend the coverage of legal liability up to a maximum of MXN/1,000,000.00. The liability insurance limits the responsibility of the customer over damages it may cause to third parties or properties. See DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS below under PAYMENT policy.To purchase this coverage you must have SLI. SLI2 is USD/7.00 per day.

CDW-Collision damage waiver (CDW includes SLI)- Limits the responsibility of the customer over the rented vehicle to a deductible of 10 percent of the car value, in case of accident or theft. Theft, vandalism or damage to parts and accessories are not covered.You will have access to legal assistance if it is necessary. See DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS below under PAYMENT policy. CDW is USD/21.99 per day.

FDW-Full damage waiver (FDW includes CDW and SLI)- The client removes all responsibility on the vehicle in case of accident, but does not cover partial robbery or vandalism. You will have access to legal assistance if it is necessary. See DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS below under PAYMENT policy. FDW is USD/29.99 per day.

PAI-Personal accident insurance- You are covered for medical expenses in case of accident in the rented vehicle up to MXN/40,000 per occupant or up to the total number of passengers according to the characteristics of the automobile. PAI is USD/4.99 per day.

RSA-Roadside assistance program- If you purchase our Roadside Service Assistance (RSA) we will waive all, or a portion of, the cost of a roadside assistance service call up to the amount of USD/400.00 per incident. Benefits include emergency road service towing, winching, jump-start, flat tire change, lockout service, and emergency fuel delivery. Some restrictions apply ask for a copy of an RSA brochure at the rental counter. RSA is USD/2.99 per day

Minimum age is 21. A charge of USD/10.00 per day applies to renters between 21 and 25.

One way rentals are available, a drop charge may apply.

If your reservation was confirmed directly with FOX Rent A Car by utilizing the reservation call center at 1-800-225-4369, or through the FOX Rent A Car web page at www.foxrentacar.com, please use the same source to cancel your reservation. FOX does not charge a cancellation fee, but does request such cancellation notice as soon as travel plans have changed.


If your reservation was confirmed through another provider (booking site, outside source, etc.), please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Some providers (booking site, outside source, etc.) may charge for the cancellation of a reservation if not cancelled within a specific time frame.Cancellation of a reservation directly thru FOX Rent A Car when confirmed thru another provider, may not relieve your responsibility with that provider. In order to alleviate such charges (cancellation fee or penalty) check with the provider and cancel the reservation directly with the provider.

Reservations will be honored for a period of six hours after the confirmed pick up date and time.

MULTIPLE or DUPLICATE RESERVATIONS - If you require multiple vehicles for the same or overlapping time periods, please make sure to use a different name for each reservation, otherwise the duplicate name reservation will automatically be cancelled. FOX will not be responsible for any cancelled reservations.

Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as at the start of rental to avoid refueling charges.

Children under the age of 4 are required to travel in child seats. There is a charge of USD/5.00 per day for child seats. If the seat is not returned in the same condition, less normal wear and tear as received, a cleaning fee will be assessed. If the seat is damaged a repair or replacement charge will be applied.

GPS units are available for rent at USD/9.95 per day. Please ask for details at time of rental.

Vehicles must stay in Mexico. Travel between some States in Mexico may require additional liability coverage - your rental agent can provide full details.

A charge of USD/5.00 per day applies to additional drivers.

Open 24 hours a day.

All renters and drivers must present a valid drivers license at the rental counter.
