DEPOSIT

A deposit in an amount equal to the estimated rental contract total, plus USD/100.00 will be charged to your credit card.The credit card must be in the name of the primary driver.Acceptable forms of payment for deposit Visa, Master Card, and American Express Note: Debit cards are not accepted for deposit.

PAYMENT

Upon return, the following may be used for payment-VISA/VISA DEBIT, MasterCard/ MasterCard Debit, American Express and Cash.

All rentals are subject to the full rental agreement terms and conditions at the time of rental. A credit card imprint will be taken at the start of all rentals for security reasons, even when a voucher covers the cost of the rental. This credit card imprint may be used to pay all extra charges including extra kilometers, extra insurance, parking fines, damages or any cost due to the rented car as a result of the renters use of the car.

The rental agency is off terminal, Arriving passengers should exit the departures doors, where they will be met by our representative holding a sign with the FOX logo and the passengers name printed on it for a short shuttle ride to the rental location. Law requires rental contracts to include supplemental coverage. You will be required to select from the following at time of rental.

LDW (Loss Damage Waiver): relieves the renter of all financial responsibility for the loss or damage to the rental car, as long as the vehicle is used in accordance with the terms of the Rental Agreement. In case of damage or loss, the renter has to pay only the value of the co-participation of the protection. Cost for LDW is USD/11.00 per day.

Third party protection: Primary insurance protects you against claims made by third party for bodily injury and/or property damage sustained while operating the rental vehicle, up to the limit of the coverage. Third party protection does not cover all situations that may arise while operating a rental vehicle. Cost for third party protection is USD/6.00 per day

Minimum age is 21. A charge of USD/10.00 per day applies to renters between 21 and 25.

If the vehicle is returned to a different location than the pick-up location A fee of US USD/1.00 per Km of distance between each location.

Drop charges vary depending on the location please contact the Renting Location for charges prior to return.

If your reservation was confirmed directly with FOX Rent A Car by utilizing the reservation call center at 1-800-225-4369, or through the FOX Rent A Car web page at www.foxrentacar.com, please use the same source to cancel your reservation. FOX does not charge a cancellation fee, but does request such cancellation notice as soon as travel plans have changed.

If your reservation was confirmed through another provider (booking site, outside source, etc.), please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Some providers (booking site, outside source, etc.) may charge for the cancellation of a reservation if not cancelled within a specific time frame. Cancellation of a reservation directly thru FOX Rent A Car when confirmed thru another provider, may not relieve your responsibility with that provider. In order to alleviate such charges (cancellation fee or penalty) check with the provider and cancel the reservation directly with the provider.

Reservations will be honored for a period of six hours after the confirmed pick up date and time.

The rental car will have full tank. The car should be returned with the same fuel on, or a charge will be made for the missing liters.

FOX RENT A CAR is pleased to offer roadside assistance in Sao Paulo. Simply call the emergency service number located on your Rental agreement.Please check the coverage of the protections purchased, the roadside assistance is present at all protections available.

GPS Units

Rent at USD/7.50 per day or at a discounted USD/49.99 per week and USD/149.99 per month. Please ask for details at the time of rental.

The vehicles are allowed only to use in Brazilian territory.

A charge of USD/3.00 per day applies to additional drivers.

INTERNATIONAL RENTERS

Must provide the following 3 items, Valid Drivers License, International Drivers License and Passport

DOMESTIC RENTER

Must provide valid domestic Drivers License.

All renters will be required to supply, current home address (not P.O. Box), a current home and local contact number, and second contact phone number (cell or business), and a credit card in the drivers name to complete the security deposit.

All renters and drivers must present a valid drivers license at the rental counter.

MULTIPLE or DUPLICATE RESERVATIONS - If you require multiple vehicles for the same or overlapping time periods, please make sure to use a different name for each reservation, otherwise the duplicate name reservation will automatically be cancelled. FOX will not be responsible for any cancelled reservations.

Unlimited kilometers
