As the Search Marketing Manager for Paid Search you will be responsible for the general strategy, development, planning and execution of all paid search marketing (SEM/PPC/CPA) in support of Fox Rent A Car. This position will work closely with marketing, IT, search engine partners, affiliate marketing partners and international 3rd parties to manage
internal and external search marketing programs.
Design, deploy and manage all SEM, PPC and CPA campaigns on Google, Bing, Yahoo and other search engines.
Manage direct search marketing partners and programs for external programs (CJ, AAP, etc.)
Hands on, day-to-day management of all PPC efforts, forecasting, budgeting, ad strategy, bid management, search reports, keyword management, PLA and bulk changes in editing tools.
Constantly monitor, test and revise strategies to drive revenue growth within budgets.
Plan, buy and optimize and analyze media via all search platforms.
Work with design/marketing/IT teams to create and optimize landing pages for PPC/SEM/CPA programs.
Create and report on paid search performance KPI’s in all channels for executive team and CFO. Expert in analytics and performance modeling.
Manage retargeting, pay per call, mobile SEM, Social PPC and multi-lingual campaigns in addition to traditional channel SEM/PPC.
Develop testing scenarios to optimize program and performance – ad copy, campaign placements, bids, landing pages and keyword strategies.
Data Feed management. Manage data feeds for Google Shopping/Google Travel/PLAs, retargeting, affiliates and ad hoc partners, also fix and troubleshoot issues and resolve performance or feed issues.
Monthly report creation to track forecast/actuals/accruals for media buys and sales.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Expert in PPC with extensive experience in managing all aspects of Google Adwords/Adcenter and other search platform accounts.
Expert in Google Adwords Editor & Bing Editor Tools
Expert in paid search best practices, KPI management and landing page programs and analytics.
Expert in budget management and paid search model forecasting
Extensive experience in A/B and multivariate testing
Experience with Google Shopping and PLAs
Experience with managing retargeting campaigns/platforms
Experience with Google Display Network
Experience with managing data feeds and APIs
Good knowledge of SEO and best practices
Good knowledge of HTML
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
BA/BS in related field or equivalent experience required.
Three years of e-commerce or agency level search marketing program management experience with budget responsibility.
Extensive experience with search marketing analytics tools and reporting.
Additional experience with: Social PPC, Mobile PPC, Non-English search platforms highly desirable.
